Dr. Brent Crawford

Magenta Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Brent Crawford to the Beach clinic location at 1874 Queen St. East. Brent will start accepting new patients starting mid-March 2019.

Brent studied biology and psychology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, where, he also completed his Master of Science degree, exploring the impact of environmental toxins on reproductive health. Brent completed both his medical degree and his post-graduate training in family medicine at the University of Toronto and St. Michael's Hospital downtown. Afterwards, he accepted an additional fellowship in low-risk obstetrics at North York General Hospital. While Brent enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, he has special interests in LGBTQ+ health, care of patients living with HIV, and prenatal/obstetrical care. He welcomes pregnant patients at Magenta Health and is part of a team of physicians that deliver at Michael Garron Hospital/Toronto East Health Network.

Dr. Nicholas Ng Fuk Chong

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nicholas Ng Fuk Chong to Magenta Health! He will start seeing patients in July 2017. Nicholas studied Microbiology & Immunology at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and subsequently earned his medical degree at the Université de Montréal. He completed his post-graduate training in family medicine at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. 

Before joining Magenta Health, Nicholas worked for several years as a family physician for a French-speaking immigrant and refugee patient population in Toronto. Additionally, Nicholas has an Adjunct Clinical Academic Appointment at the University of Toronto and is a clinician teacher within the Department of Family and Community Medicine

Nicholas is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Cristina Musngi

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Cristina Musngi to Magenta Health. Cristina graduated Summa Cum Laude in Nursing Sciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and subsequently earned her medical degree at McMaster University as well.  She completed post-graduate training in family medicine as Chief Resident at McMaster Family Practice.

She is joining Magenta Health after 10 years of providing comprehensive medical care (newborn, prenatal, adult, geriatric, and palliative care) to her patients in Peel Region at Summerville Family Health Team.

Cristina is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Winnie Siao

We are a bit late in announcing this, but we are pleased to welcome Dr. Winnie Siao to Magenta Health. She studied life sciences at Queen's University, and subsequently earned her medical degree at the University of Calgary. She completed her post-graduate training in family medicine at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Aarti Kapoor

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Aarti Kapoor to Magenta Health.  Aarti studied Life Sciences and Psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and subsequently earned her medical degree at the University of Ottawa. She completed her post-graduate training in family medicine at the Toronto Western Hospital.

In addition to providing primary care at Magenta Health, Dr. Kapoor has a special interest in Adolescent Health with expertise providing LGBTQ positive care to youth and young adults. She is a Lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and also Courtesy Staff at the Toronto Western Hospital.

Additional after-hours appointments

As our number of family doctors has grown, we are expanding our after-hours coverage to provide better access for our patients.  

Starting February 2015, Magenta Health will be offering additional after-hours appointments on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  As with before, these appointment times are for urgent matters only.

Dr. Eugenie Phan

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Eugenie Phan to Magenta Health.  Eugenie studied microbiology at the University of Toronto, and subsequently earned her medical degree at the University at Toronto. She completed her post-graduate training in family medicine at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto.  

In addition to providing primary care at Magenta Health, Eugenie is also an Associate Physician at House Calls*, which is a primary health care program for home-bound seniors.  You can learn more about House Calls here and here.

Dr. Natasha Gulavita

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Natasha Gulavita to Magenta Health.  Natasha studied Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and subsequently earned her medical degree at the University of Manitoba.  She completed her post-graduate training in family medicine at the Toronto East General Hospital and also recently completed a locum physician position at the Southeast Toronto Family Health Team.

Dr. Matthew Cruickshank

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Matthew Cruickshank to Magenta Health.  Matthew studied computer engineering at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and subsequently earned his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario.  His post-graduate training in family medicine was at the Toronto East General Hospital.  He has worked at a number of locum positions and walk-in clinics in the East End and is excited about building his own practice.
