Pharmacy Partners sharing space with Magenta Health

At Magenta Health, we are continually looking for ways to enhance the patient experience whether through increasing efficiencies or by providing other services and often leveraging technology whenever possible.

One of these ways is by having pharmacy partners. At the two “new” Magenta Health locations that opened at Midtown and Beaches, in 2017 and 2018 respectively, we have pharmacy partners located right in the same space just off the patient waiting area.

Our pharmacy partners are independent pharmacist owners who provide great care and advice to all who elect to fill their prescriptions there, whether it is a Magenta Health patient or someone from the surrounding communities.

At Midtown - Northern Rx pharmacy is located directly to your right as you step off the elevator.

At NORTHERN Rx, pharmacist Shaun Toolsie brings with him years of experience working closely with endocrinologists and family physicians as a Certified Diabetes Educator.  While patients are often referred to Shaun when diabetes has already been diagnosed, preventive care is the cornerstone of his pharmacy practice, and anyone that is pre-diabetic or potentially at risk is encouraged to take advantage of this Ministry of Health covered service.  Referrals are not required, simply visit Shaun to find out more.

To better serve the needs of the communities and clinics in which he has practiced, Shaun is also certified by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Opioid Dependence Treatment, and continues to grow his areas of expertise through his collaboration with the physicians at Midtown.  For any of your health related concerns or questions, treatment of minor ailments such as pink eye and winter itch with effective over the counter solutions, patients are always welcomed to drop-in or call.

At Beaches - Queen East Medical Pharmacy is located directly in front as you step in the main entrance door.

Queen East Medical Pharmacy is managed by pharmacist Milson Chan and often the first person you see as you enter the clinic entrance door. Milson provides services such as medication advice, injection administration (seasonal flu shots, travel vaccine, etc.) and can help you save valuable wait time on all your prescriptions.

For more information on store hours and services at Queen East Medical Pharmacy, visit their website or talk to Milson - he will take care of all your medication needs!
