A Long-Overdue Update: Our Woodbine Location

May 1, 2018 Magenta Health
Water 4.jpg

We are writing to update you with regard to our long-overdue Woodbine location. There have been several years worth of setbacks, but there is now a light at the end of the tunnel!

In short, we will be opening a clinic at Queen and Woodbine soon! A lease has been signed, zoning has been approved, and interior construction is already ongoing. Our goal is to be open by August 1, 2018!

At the moment, three physicians will be moving from our existing Broadview location to the Woodbine location as soon as it opens:

  • Dr. Nicholas Chong (still accepting new patients - register here)
  • Dr. Cristina Musngi (not currently actively accepting new patients)
  • Dr. Matthew Cruickshank (not currently accepting new patients)

The clinic will grow over time to help ensure after-hours care is conveniently available, as well as ensuring patients have access to medical care during physician leave (e.g. vacations / holidays).

We frequently get questions on social media or emailed to us in respect of the status of the Woodbine location. Please feel free to share this update with anyone who might be interested, or any individuals looking for a family doctor.

Welcome to Magenta Health, located in Tkaronto (Toronto), on the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Anishinabek Nation, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and other Indigenous peoples who have nurtured the health and wellness of this land for generations. As we provide care in this region, we acknowledge the enduring presence and knowledge of Indigenous communities and commit to promoting health equity by actively reflecting on a more truthful and inclusive history of what is now known as Canada. This includes the past and present systemic racism faced by our Indigenous colleagues, patients and community members.
