Prenatal Visits

Different family doctors offer different levels of prenatal care, depending in part on their training, experience, and interest.

Your physician does not offer prenatal care. Instead, your physician will refer you to another clinician (e.g. an OB, a midwife, a family doctor with an OB practice) as appropriate.

To obtain a referral, please book a regular appointment. Your physician will review your options for prenatal care with you, and order preliminary tests in preparation for your referral, if appropriate.
