Appointment Scheduling - Dr. Aarti Kapoor
To help you schedule the right appointment, this booking page describes three categories of appointments:
✔ Specific non-urgent medical issues ✔ Urgent medical issues ✔ Check-ups without a specific medical issue (a.k. physicals, check-ups)
Please take a moment to scan through the options - you might need to scroll down. Choosing the right option is important to schedule you with the right clinician for the right amount of time, and to ensure we're prepped for your appointment.

urgent Medical issue?
Your physician and clinic reserves appointments for patients with urgent, but not emergency, needs. For emergency, debilitating or rapidly changing symptoms, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room instead. Learn more here.
NOTE: Booking an urgent appointment unnecessarily means other patients have their care delayed. In general, it is not appropriate to book an urgent appointment for:
❌Renewing long-standing medications ❌Paperwork and note requests ❌Long-standing periodic injections ❌Screening for diseases for which you have no symptoms ❌Long-standing unchanging medical symptoms
See our guide about when to book an urgent appointment here. We thank you to kindly use good judgment.
check-up without a specific medical issue?
(a.k.a. physicals, check-ups, periodic health exams)
Regular appointments are recommended for newborns, infants, and children at the 1, 2, 4, and 8 week, and 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 month milestones.
Otherwise healthy individuals don’t always need annual physicals, and these check-ups can occasionally do more harm than good. Please read this Choosing Wisely Canada document for more information.
Did your doctor ask you to book an annual physical?
Are you 65 and older?
Is this your first physical with your family doctor since turning 50?
