Dr. Alexandra Bongard

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Alexandra Bongard to Magenta Health.  Dr. Bongard will provide care to all of Dr. Nathalie Gans' patients while Dr. Gans is on maternity leave.

Dr. Bongard studied Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University, and subsequently earned her medical degree at Queen's University. She completed her post-graduate training in family medicine at the Toronto Western Hospital.  Following this, Alexandra did a third year specializing in Emergency Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. She is a Lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and is also an Active staff at the Scarborough Hospital

Dr. Timothy Bowes

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Timothy Bowes to Magenta Health. He will be practicing out of our Midtown location starting in January 2018.

Timothy studied at McMaster University where he completed a PhD in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences. He subsequently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cell biology at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. Timothy obtained his medical degree at the University of Toronto and completed his residency at the Markham-Stouffville Hospital family medicine program. He is passionate about preventative medicine, particularly in regards to obesity.

Dr. Heather Sherwin

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Heather Sherwin to Magenta Health.  She will be practicing out of our Midtown location.  

Heather studied commerce at Queen’s University where she was a varsity level athlete and Academic All-Canadian. She graduated with honours and worked as a management consultant before returning to school to study medicine at the University of Sydney in Australia. She subsequently completed her post-graduate training in family medicine at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre site of the University of Toronto.
